Monkey Moon Blanket

Lately I have been trying to be more healthy.  Not only to lose weight but to have a better life.  I was tired of being so tired all the time.  I would clean the house and need to have a nap in the afternoon.  Then by that same evening I would be so tired I wouldn't get anything done.  Not even fun craft things.  Once I was in Walmart and I needed rush half way across the store to take Daniel potty.  It wasn't even that far.  By the time I got there I was out of breath and dizzy.  It was then I decided I needed to make some changes.  So Andy and I started having a salad everyday instead of going out for lunch.  And having oatmeal instead of cereal.  Plus I cleaned out all my cabinets and banned all Little Debbie's, Hostess, and things of that nature.  I actually cried when we threw away the ice cream.  But it is all worth it.  There are so many benefits that I hadn't even considered.  I have a lot more energy which equals more patients with my kids.  I don't need naps anymore to get through the day.  And I am doing more of the things I want to do.  Like some of the stuff I have been meaning to sew.  So here is my latest creation!  Hopefully with more to come.

Yes, I feel for ya. I've got to get off some winter weight that is very tiring to drag around. I what to join a boot camp, but instead, I'm walking more to lose it. I can so far only walk long distances on the days I don't work, b/c it wears me out and yesterday I weeded and got sore from that, and that's embarrassing!
