One Month Old

Daniel is one month old and doing great. He is 10lbs now. His hair is a light brown after it is washed and I think his eyes are starting to turn blue. His skin is getting fairer and fairer, like Elwyn. During the day, after he eats, he loves to look around and watch his brother and sister play. Then after about an hour of that he loves to be rocked to sleep. I sometimes let him put himself to sleep, but he doesn't like that very much. He nurses like a pro, and eats every two or three hours. He isn't even close to sleeping through the night yet, but he goes back to sleep right after he nurses so it really isn't so bad. Elwyn loves to sing to him. She has taken it upon herself to put his passy in his mouth when ever he crys. She also will through away the daipers for me. She is a big helper.


He loves his yellow blanket. I think it is because it is heavyer that the other blankets. He loves his bath. He layes there and coos and grunts.

I'm glad Elwyn is such a helper. Wow he is getting big quick, and before you know it he will be sleeping through the night. Andy told me your growing a garden, that's good. I learned that the veg's we buy in the store weather they're Organic or not, will not contain the nutrients that we need in our daily diet. Many of our vitamins which should come from veg's are depleted b/c U.S. soil has been stripped of them. Best way to insure that Your garden has those nutrients is to throw veg's leftovers right back into your garden, so that is will give it a boost. I have a compost and I also throw the eggs shells into garden while making breakfast. Never add fertilizers or any other chemicals. If needed find a natural alternative.
