We do school time at home with Tanner. We are getting him ready to go to school this next August. So I loves struting around the house wearing his school bag.

Elwyn is trying to daiper her kittys. When I asked her why she was puting medicine on their bottoms (The container was sealed) she said " Kitty have scratchies". Which means the kitties have mosquito bites.

I love it when kids play pretend! :-) It's so fun to see what they come up with.
Do you mean pre-school for Tanner? Cause I think he's a bit young yet. When he does go then you'll have to do pretend pre-school for Elwyin b/c she'll think she is missing out. Jen and Treavor are touring Nauvoo, Il this weekend. I hope they find my cousin Mona Duke's kids or her, but I seriously doubt Mona is still alive in her nineties. I'm working on a geneology project that I hope will benefit my kids. So far I think I've located my father's father who is buried in Cabool, Montana and also he was born there. I also found burial place of my father's mother's parents: Lemon Clarence Hewitt and Nellie May Spicer of whom died in 1949, years before I was born. I would like to visit their grave sites which are located here in southern California. My father's mother Esther Olive Hewitt, was buried in San Jose, California. Wish me luck!
How is fire fighting program going, Andrew?? Melinda, how is it going with the babysitting job? I Hope they pay you well. I just got a my paid deposited check returned from a nursing agency b/c of NSF. I'm hoping to get my money, but they changed banks and there isn't a bank by that name in this area. Lucky that I only worked one shift for them! My grand kids are really growing up. What's your plans for Christmas?? Are you spending it with Melinda's family this year?
Tanner will be going to kindergarden August of 2009. We already do preschool at home with Tanner and Elwyn. This year for Christmas we are staying here with the Redfords.
As for firefighting school, (Pima Fire Academy) it's going great. Andy's very tired all whenever he comes home, but still has time and energy for the kids and I. He has to go to school some Sundays, however we both feel that it's worth it. Geneology work is always fun and exciting. Andy told me of a widow in Cloverdale who does nothing but geneology work anymore. He was her home teacher, and I think she was the Bishop's mother too. We're not yet sure where Andy will get a job yet, but he's researching every fire district and department in Arizona. Wish us luck!
Family update ,,,,check Jen's blogger for new pic's on there arrived home in MI. Becky and Charlie just did a weekend road trip to Mt.Shasta, for her birthday gift. I've been working my long hrs at St. Helena Hospital, working 14 hours days, three or four times a week. I want to pay off some bills before winter settles in. We just entertained Michael, (lead singer's in our band), and his family, for the weekend. Michael and David did some recording and I took his wife, Viola and Nat, his 15 yr old to see Culinary winery, and napa vineyards. Later they all swam in our community lake here. Michael showed us how to drink the ethnic tea of South America, "Yerba Matte," where he lived in Argentina as a child. His mother was a famous singer/tv host there. Lunch with Cindy revealed her finishing up at SFU by December, and she started Nature Pathetic school, but the best thing in her life now is her new man, Patrick, who has been a chiropractor for past two years mainly with sports injury patients. Nice guy, treats Cindy well....she is so.. smitten!
Check out imommies.com for Disneyland on your birthday for FREE!
Its true, just for signing up of a child's or adult's birthday only valid in 2009 you'll receive a FREE admission for that day only. Tanner maybe old enough to enjoy it, but I don't know if Elwyin would yet? Anyway, pass it along to your friends and if you can't find the ad on imommies, just type in Disenyland specials for 2009.
