Christmas Blessings

It is amazing how Heavenly Father can show you he loves you by doing little things like helping find Christmas presents for my children. So here is what happened to me: We have almost no money for Christmas and I had been wondering how we were going to get my kids gifts this year. Tanner is really into super hearos like batman and superman. Elwyn is really into playing pretend so I wanted to get her these little Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Poop figures. As a side note my sister wanted to get her daughter doll house furniture. Well I went yard saleing and the first place I went to had this 45 gallon storage bin full of ramdom toys. I really didn't want to dig through it so I left. Well the spirit told me to go back. Sad to say I ignored it all morning untill I was done yard saleing. By then I couldn't ignore it anymore so I went back. The spirt said to look into the bin. So for 30 minuets I knelt on the cold conceat with my big pregnant belly and dig. You'll never guess what I found. All the super heros I wanted to get Tanner, the Mickey mouse and Winnie the Pooh set I wanted for Elwyn. All the doll furniture for my sister. While I was digging I put together all the toys set that were in pieces in the bin. So the lady let me fill up a whole bag for $2.00!

But I am not done yet. The lady next door to this yard sale was also haveing a yard sale and she was so impressed with how good Elwyn was (I had to take her with my) That she gave here this littlest pet shop cat for free and she said I could pick any little pet shop figure I wanted the 25cents. So I got a few. I went home and told my mom this experience and she told me that my Aunt was giveing her a littlest pet shop house and That Elwyn culd have it for Christmas. (I went back and got more little pets).

So I was able to get everything I wanted for my children for Christmas for less the $5.00a all because I listened to the spirit and went back. It is so good to know that Heavenly Father loves my little family enough to help us with something as small as toys for Christmas.

New Baby

This is the 4 month old baby we watch three days a week. His name is Kellen and he is the most low key baby I have ever met. He only fusses when he is hungery or poopy. When he wants to sleep he just rolls over a goes to sleep where he is and he doesn't like to be held so he plays in the play pen while Elwyn fans over him.

Elwyn Turns Two

This is Elwyn tying out her new shoes dress up shoes from Daddy. She loved having all her friends and family over. They played outside and had hot dogs and french fries, Elwyn's two favorite foods. Thank you to everyone who came and thank you to Grandma Copping for sending her a gift card. We were not able to afford to buy anything so I made Elwyn a doll. Then we got Grandma Copping's gift card in the mail so I was able to get her some things she really needed and some magic baby doll bottles for her to play with. She loves her dress up stuff and changes her accessories at least once a day. And she loves her new baby . She feeds it when ever I feed our new baby Kellen.Almost all the kids that came from the back left: Mac, Tanner, Caleb, Joseph, Easton, Cody, (round the corner and to the front) Melanie, Zack and Alexis. I am sorry there are only pictures but for some reason my computer wont let me down load the video.

Tanner is glad to pose for me.
Elwyn looked behind her and got scared of the tiger. Later she got over it and pet the lion.

This is an elephant's tusk. It's taller than Tanner.
Elwyn, Joseph, and Cody exploring a Javalina.

We have a favorite place to go during the Summer. It is so nice because it is all in doors and very well air conditioned. This museum is all taxidermy animals that are put in real life posses. It is amazing. They also have things that kids can touch or pose with. On this trip my sister in law Allyson and her three boys came. It was too much fun.

Too Cute

I just had to share these with every one.

(Foster nephew) Zack and Tanner at Mcdonalds

Elwyn refusing to use a spoon.
I shouldn't be up here, but I just love the view.
I don't want to get down.
Elwyn and Daddy playing with her snacks.

Visiting Aunt Jenny

Tanner loved the water fall at the pool. He had a hard time with the rest of swimming. I think it is time we put him in swim lessons.

Elwyn loved playing on the steps.

Elwyn - Raylinn- Brindly - Tanner
Tanner and Elwyn are trying to make the movie projector work when I told them to smile. Too cute.
Elwyn and Brindly are playing Mommy and Baby.

We went up to Mesa for Brindly's birthday party. Tanner had a great time haveing someone to play with who loved princesses. He watched the Little Mermaid for the first time and still asks for it at home. I don't have it but I am looking for it. They both liked the pool. They had not been in a big pool all summer. I think it is time to start swim lessons. Thank you Jenny for a good time. We look forward to seeing you in July.

Yard Sale Super Heros

I got these costumes at a yard sale. Now every time Mac comes over I have super heros flying around the house all day. They play protect the princess (Elwyn) and I am the dragon. It is too much fun.

Kiddy Pool

We got a blow up pool for the summer and I put it under the slide. Elwyn had so much fun and was totally fearless. She would go do front ways, backwards, head first, it was crazy. Tanner didn't like it as much because his face would get wet. But he is getting used to it little by little. The two red heads are Mac and Levi, the two boys I babysit.

RaeAnn Got Married

My sister ReaAnn got married on May 17th.

She looked really beautiful in her dress and she was practicly glowing. I remember when I was young and glowy.

Tanner was lucky enough to get to pose was her for perfetional pictures. He had a lot of fun with Daddy posing for the pictures of all the decorations.

Elwyn was kind of cranky. I made her dress though.

This was our attempt at a family photo in front of the temple. It was so hot there that Elwyn would not let us take away her sippy cup on pains of makeing a scene. And Tanner was very upset that he was not allowed inside the temple to see ReaAnn.
They found some shade to recover their strength so they could go pick flowers with Daddy.

I just love these two pictures of Elwyn. She is so smart! Today she said elephant and gorilla. She will be two in August but she is so small. What a joy my children are. I love walking into a room and she will yell "Mommy!" and give me a big hug even though I saw her two minets ago in the kitchen.

Tanner is such a great kid. We are working on haveing him dress himself. He does really well but gets stuck in his shirt. It is so amazing when you ask him a question and then listen to his mind work as you get a more detailed answer than you thought possible.
